Chantelle's February Watchlist

Hi, me again! I've put together a list of releases to streaming services that I am SUPER excited for this month. Will it be action movies? Romantic comedies? A total gore-fest? Read on to find out! I've included the streaming service I'm planning on watching it on with the release date too, to make it easier if you decide you fancy watching it too.

February 1st: Dream Girls - Amazon Prime

Musical with Queen Bey doing her thing. Nuff said.

February 1st: The Pact - Netflix

I actually missed this first time around but I am intrigued to see what this feature will bring to the table. And Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers fame is in it, so, can I get a hell yeah?!

February 1st: Mean Girls - Netflix

Possibly my favourite throwback movie to my teenage years, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried star alongside Tina Fey in this comedy about a high school clique. That is so FETCH!

February 1st: Snakes on a Plane - Netflix

Do I even need to say why this movie needs to be watched? As a Samuel L. Jackson lover I think he steals this one, and it has some top notch classic lines of his that you can look forward to. I see it as a funny drama.

February 16th: Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot - Netflix

Stallone in a laugh out loud comedy from the 90s. Deffo gonna cheer you up, I promise. So bad it's good.

February 17th: The Meg - Netflix

Did you ever think that you needed a shark movie with Jason Statham? I'll leave you with that thought, and I hope your answer is yes.

February 19th: I Care A Lot - Netflix

Starring the Ten Point Podcast pointy award winners for Season 2's worst actor and best actress, you'll find Peter Dinklage and Rosamund Pike in this particular movie. Haven't seen so can't recommend but it would be funny if it was actually half decent...

February 19th: Bohemian Rhapsody - Amazon Prime

I haven't seen this one yet and I've been saving it for a rainy day... who doesn't love a Queen singalong?

February 19th: Flora & Ulysses - Disney+

A brand new movie release coming to Disney+, Flora & Ulysses is a family movie following the adventures of a young girl called Flora who has a squirrel with superpowers! John Kassir, the voice of Tales From The Crypt for what felt like forever, voices Ulysses the squirrel, and other great cast members include Buffy's Alyson Hannigan, Danny Pudi (yes he was in Knights of Badassdom last season) and the talented voice artist Kate Micucci. The latter two have done voices for Duck Tales so very good chance that's where Disney plucked them from!

February 22nd: What Men Want - Netflix

I think this is going to be What Women Want flipped on it's head, and I enjoyed that film, so I am thinking watching this is a given. Taraji P. Henson and Tracy Morgan star in this romantic comedy about a woman who gains the ability to read the minds of the men around her.

February 23rd: Underworld I-IV (Yes, all four of them!) - Amazon Prime

Definitely a great addition to Amazon, one of the few horror franchises where all of the sequels were bearable for me.

February 26th: Ice Age: Collision Course - Disney+

One for the family, and another great instalment in the Ice Age movie collection. Sid the sloth is my faveeeeee. Animals working together to prevent the destruction of the planet because Scrat managed to send an asteroid to Earth whilst chasing the ever elusive acorn.
